Captain Antonis (Central Complex)
Captain Antonis or our Honeymoon House can accommodate 2 to 6 people. It has with 2 double beds and can take 2 more bunk beds in the living area, since it is a 110 sqm. The main bedroom is allocated on the second floor and the 2nd double bed is allocated in the living room, where under the bed used to be the place that you put the grapes to squash and make the wine. Now this has became a beautiful tilled small plunge pool/bath for our honeymooners to enjoy. The house combines harmoniously the traditional style with modern architecture, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Anthoula House (135 sqm) is an individual villa built in 2009. There are 2 double bedrooms with king-size beds and another bedroom with 2 single beds. On the ground floor there is a situated one of the double bedrooms and the 2 singe bedrooms with a WC in the middle of them. Going up on the second floor you will end up in a very big living room and a balcony that probably you will spend quit a few time there, since the views are just undesirable. The sofas can turn into beds in case that there are 7 of you sharing the house and hat would not be a problem for the cooking facilities since the kitchen has a large fridge, a cooker with four hobs, plus filter coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. It's one of the eight traditional stone houses, which offer's modern comforts and a magnificent ambience for all guests. Maria House (135 sqm) is our second largest house also built in 2009 but with all the details and furniture of an old traditional Cretan house. The 2 double bedrooms with king-size beds are very big of size where each one of them has a private balcony. The other 2 single beds are situated on a loft just above the living room and for the cold nights(???) there is a fireplace but also central heating(extra charge). In the house entrance you will find a private veranda with tables and chairs among the 3 total balconies that are situated there. The Kitchen has a large fridge, a cooker with four hobs, plus filter coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle as in most of our houses. For your convenience it is equipped with A/C, Wi-Fi Internet access in the living room and plasma TV in all the rooms.

Sofia House (75 sqm) is a cosy house built in a rock where it can be seen by the living room and combines harmoniously the traditional with its friendly atmosphere. KASTELLOS VILLAGE is situated in the picturesque village of Kastellos of Eastern Apokoronas. Kastellos Village comprises of three complexes. Each one of these complexes consists of 4 traditional stone houses, which offer all modern comforts and a magnificent ambiance to all guests. The complex is ideal for those wishing to escape everyday routine and relax enjoying the Cretan countryside.
All houses – of all three complexes – are independent and fully equipped. They are built according to the traditional architecture. On the outside, beautiful stone work frames the dark green doorways and windows, further accentuated by the pastel strawberry and lemon walls. Add to this lovely tiled roofs and backdrop of the blue sky and mountains, and then you begin to understand why we were so smitten. Inside the restoration is if anything, even more remarkable, with beautifully tiled floors, ceilings supported by huge beams interlaced with traditional bamboo linings and pale ochre colored walls set off by elegant concealed lighting.
Each house has two floors and a private veranda with panoramic view of the mountain and the sea. Guests can choose amongst houses with one or two sitting areas, according to their needs. All houses are equipped with fully equipped kitchen (with kitchen appliances and utensils), bathroom with bathtub, WC with shower and one or two bedrooms with king size beds. The houses combine harmoniously the traditional style with modern decorative elements, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. For your convenience, all houses have A/C, fireplace, Internet access and plasma TV. Every house can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. Area Information
Georgioupolis is a popular vacation resort with a great long beach (it goes for several Km) and an idyllic harbor with little fishing boats at the north coast of the island, between the cities of Chania and Rethymnon (35 km from Chania, 25 km from Rethimnon). A fishing village up to 1990 or so, it was discovered and has been transformed into a popular holiday destination over the past 15 years, without losing its original charm and tranquility. Old eucalyptus trees and a small river that flows into the sea, create a distinctive and unique ambiance (it is a wildlife refuge). As for the location it is a great choice as a starting point for excursions into western Crete. At a distance of about 5 Km from Georgioupoli lies the Kournas sweet water lake that worth's a visit.
Travel Information
The village of Kastellos - Traditional House clings to a hillside in splendid isolation, some 2 km from the village of Kournas and 7km from the nearest beach. The solitary village street zigzags religiously upwards some 2km to a church on the hilltop, but happily BarbaYiannis and Sofia are just around the first bend.

The village was quiet and occupied by local people. On the top of the hill you can find Maria Taverna. Although they do not speak english there you can manage and eat really good food. The houses are all very different but the same thought,care and consideration as gone into each one.They are private and very individual.The owner has made some clever decisions which keep the various patios and balconies private to each house such as strategically placed trees and walls. The location is in the foothills of the White Mountains and has a serene and peaceful atmosphere.The sea is clear to be seen, a short drive down to the main road and turn left for about 5 k brings you to Paradise Beach which is superb. You may watch a magnificent sunrise to the East from your house or balcony. The owners are so warm and friendly and welcome you to your house with milk, water and fruit plus bread and some butter in your fridge. One of my favourite sounds in a morning is the bells on the sheep and goats . There is a little steep winding road to the village and when you arrive, the old village looks abandoned but this becomes part of the authenticity of this magical place. I wouldn't hesitate to return again and again. Absolutely adored it. | 5 |

We felt really sorry for him being trappend there every Night and day away from anything on a one meter chain. I know it s not your fault, but I think it s still worth mentioning. For the Rest ist was really great and mr yiannis and litsa were so nice! Oh and maybe it would be better to inform People at the arrival that you have to ask for roomservice. first we were a bit confused. Die ganze Anlage ist einem Bergdorf nachempfunden, kleine Einheiten mit immer wieder Gemeinschaftspl?tzen (St?hle und Tische) dazwischen. Den Mittelpunkt bilden ein kleiner Platz mit Brunnen und die beiden Pools. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, bei den gro?z?gigen Wohneinheiten ( wir waren im Bardis) wurde an jedes Detail gedacht und versucht, die Renovierung so urspr?nglich wie m?glich durchzuf?hren. Die Aussicht auf Meer und Berge ist kaum zu ?berbieten. Es stehen z. B. Badem?ntel und Poolbadet?cher zur Verf?gung. Fr?hst?ck wird keines serviert, dies kann aber in der kleinen K?che selbst zubereitet oder zum m??igen Preis in Maria's Taverne ( 3 min Fu?weg) eingenommen werden.
